The largest AirPods launch to date is being prepared for by Apple's international suppliers. It was reported that the next batch of AirPods will go into production in May. The corporation plans to produce 20–25 million units, which is more than it did for earlier versions. The new iPhone 16 series is anticipated to be introduced in September or October, coinciding with the debut of the new AirPods.
The second and third generations of AirPods will be replaced by the future versions, codenamed B768(E) and B768(M). "Entry" and "mid-tier" are denoted by the letters "E" and "M," respectively. Both versions will come with USB-C charging cases, an enhanced fit, and a redesigned design. To improve product tracking, the mid-tier model will furthermore come with Find My speakers built into the casing and active noise cancellation.
When iOS 18 is released this autumn, Apple plans to include major software updates in addition to hardware changes. These consist of an AirPods hearing-test function and a hearing aid mode. Additionally, a blood pressure checker is anticipated to be included in the next Apple Watch; however, the existing versions will not have this capability.
It is anticipated that a new version of the AirPods Pro will be released in 2019. Longer term, Apple is working on a model that should be delivered in a few years that will include low-resolution cameras that can scan the user's surroundings.
This year, Apple will also be launching the new iPhone series at the autumn event. This year, Apple is anticipated to make a few significant lineup adjustments. The screen size of the Pro iPhones will increase. The screen size of the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max will be 6.3 inches and 6.9 inches, respectively. There will be a redesign of the camera island on regular iPhones as well.
