German firm Allied Heat Exchange AG (A-HEAT) is set to establish a 37,000 sqm heat exchanger production plant for its subsidiary brand Güntner in Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA), Dubai, UAE.
As the biggest heat exchanger factory in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region, the new factory will be one of the key production and distribution hubs, enabling faster and more agile supply throughout the GCC, India, China, Africa, and Asia. The factory will focus on producing energy-efficient cooling systems, namely catering to the growing demand from data centers.
The JAFZA company-owned plant will occupy a total area of 111,000 sqm, responding to the increasing need for environmentally friendly cooling solutions. In addition to producing heat exchangers designed for natural refrigerants, the factory will also manufacture Güntner's AiCore Smart Control products. The new technology, which is currently being optimized by Güntner's R&D department, will be manufactured in this plant.
A-Heat board member Hubert Spegel, said “This milestone marks a significant step in our ongoing commitment to the Middle East and global markets. Our collaboration with DP World and JAFZA underscores our dedication to providing the most advanced and energy-efficient cooling solutions for industries that depend on optimal thermal management.”
JAFZA, set up in 1985, is the main driver of Jebel Ali ports' trade and support. The free zone, located between Al Maktoum International Airport and Jebel Ali Port, remains a favorite among foreign investors, a sign of Dubai as a trade and industrial center.
