Etisalat UAE, the telecommunications division of global technology company Etisalat, has partnered with EMSTEEL Group, the largest steel and building materials manufacturer in the UAE, to collaborate for the first time in the manufacturing industry to develop and implement an advanced 5G network.
The UAE's 5G private virtual network greatly cuts down on operating costs and enhances worker HSE. This network is designed to facilitate Industry 4.0 digital applications that will lower operational expenses, boost productivity, and improve worker safety.
EMSTEEL will be the pioneer in harnessing the capabilities of 5G Slicing in the UAE. According to the deal, e& UAE's industrial connectivity proposal will include customizable 5G slicing, allowing EMSTEEL to customize network resources for specific uses and enhance performance in different manufacturing processes at a lower cost.
