Honda R&D (India), a division of Honda Motor Co, has unveiled a new research and development facility in Bengaluru dedicated to accelerating electrification efforts in India. This move aligns with Honda's global goal of achieving carbon neutrality across its entire product range and corporate operations by 2050.

In its commitment to environmental sustainability, Honda aims to make a diverse range of products carbon-neutral in terms of their power sources. Specifically targeting the motorcycle sector, Honda R&D (India) aims to achieve carbon neutrality for all motorcycle products by the 2040s. This proactive approach reflects Honda's dedication to reducing its carbon footprint and promoting eco-friendly practices in the automotive industry.

The newly inaugurated Solution R&D Centre will play a crucial role in integrating advanced mobility technologies into the development of electrified vehicles.
