Indian Oil Corporation To Manufacture Formula 1 Fuel For Asian Racing

Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. (IOC), a domestic oil company, recently declared that it will start manufacturing Formula 1 (F1) fuel in three months. This action is a component of IOC's plan to broaden its selection of specialty fuels.

The firm, which offers three branded fuels including the well-liked XtraGreen diesel, is already well-known in the fuel industry. Nonetheless, the company's expansion plan has advanced significantly with the launch of F1 gasoline.

The high-performance characteristics of F1 gasoline, which are utilized in the thrilling world of motor racing, highlight IOC's dedication to innovation and quality in its product portfolio. IOC has announced a new gasoline product called "Storm" in addition to the forthcoming manufacture of F1 fuel.

This fuel will be provided for the motorcycle road racing championship in the Asian area, expanding IOC's presence in the racing sector even further.

In a statement released by the firm, IOC Chairman Shrikant Madhav Vaidya stated, "Today, we are partnering with FIM Asia Road Racing Championship for the supply of Storm." We are the only firm in India to produce fuel that meets the requirements needed for road racing.”

With the statement, "Our R&D (research and development) will be able to produce Category-1 fuel in two months and Formula 1 fuel in three months," Vaidya also disclosed the company's future goals. He emphasized that IOC's path would not be finished until they entered Formula One, showcasing the company's aspiration and forward outlook.

"Storm - Ultimate Racing Fuel" has certain qualities that set it apart from ordinary premium and commercial gasoline in terms of olefins, vapour pressure (DVPE), density range, and distillation range. It offers reduced engine deposits, more power, smoother driving, quicker acceleration, and less exhaust emissions. It may be used in any class of motorcycle racing competition that uses FIM Category 2 race gasoline.

"This is just the beginning," Vaidya said in closing. He emphasized that "Storm-Ultimate Racing Fuel" protects metallic car parts from corrosion and guarantees the cleanliness of engine and fuel delivery system components.
