Jakson Green will construct a methanol synthesis plant at the NTPC's Vindhyachal Thermal Power Project (VTPP) in Madhya Pradesh. According to a release from Jakson Group, it would be the "world's first methanol manufacturing plant in collaboration with NTPC Ltd." NTPC has awarded a project to Jakson Green, a group affiliate, to develop a methanol synthesis unit with a capacity of 10 TPD at its VTPP facility in Madhya Pradesh. pollutants." Power generation and transportation are only two use for methanol, a cleaner alternative fuel.
Jakson Green will oversee the whole design, engineering, procurement, and construction of this project on a turnkey basis in partnership with NTPC and a Japanese technology supplier for the methanol synthesis process.
"We are confident that this Methanol synthesis plant built in collaboration with NTPC will strengthen India's vision of becoming a methanol economy, which will, in turn, reduce India's dependence on crude oil imports and mitigate climate change," said Bikesh Ogra, CEO and MD of Jakson Green Private Limited.
