Kerry, a leader in taste and nutrition, in partnership with Far Eastern Impex (FEI), is establishing Pakistan's first international flavour-manufacturing plant. With its first client PepsiCo being a global leader in snacks, this factory, far advanced and located in Malir, Karachi, will open immediately.

Irish Ambassador to Pakistan, Her Excellency Mary O'Neill, American Consul General in Karachi, Scott Urbom and a few other dignitaries and agitators were among the attendees at the inauguration ceremony of the FEI factory.
This partnership will enable Kerry to deliver customized flavor solutions for local and global food manufacturers, responding to the increasing demand for the high quality of locally preferred products. Moreover, it also improves the overall supply chain effectiveness of Kerry by localising production benefits under the "Made in Pakistan" label through the advanced facility of FEI.
This rapid urbanisation of Pakistan-Having the sixth largest population across the globe fuels demand for good quality food products. The food industry is poised for sustainable growth in excess of 7% from 2025 to 2030, thereby creating innovative and growth potential opportunities in the market.
