On Thursday, Larsen & Toubro said that it had won a major order from Hindalco to set up an 850 KTPA greenfield alumina refinery in Odisha. The order has been given to the specialized vertical of minerals and metals in L&T and has been disclosed in a regulatory filing.
As per L&T classification, a large order lies between Rs 2,500 crore-Rs 5,000 crore. The project entails full scope of work which encompasses engineering, manufacturing, supply, construction, and installation under the aegis of leading technology providers.
