On Tuesday, Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal stated that there are numerous opportunities for French investors in India, including manufacturing and infrastructure.
"There is a huge delta of opportunities in India," Goyal said at the India France Business Summit in Paris.
The minister previously stated that France is India's preferred partner in terms of defense, economy, and investment.
According to Goyal, as indigenous manufacturing is promoted, India is attracting investment and technology from around the world in the defence sector.
"Exports of goods and services are increasing by more than 50%, and we hope to maintain this trend." "By 2030, we hope to have tripled our exports of goods and services from $765 billion to $2 trillion," Goyal said.
He also stated that the Indian economy is expected to grow to $35 trillion in the next 25 years, up from $3.5 trillion now.
