Thanos Technologies, an agri-drone technology business, inaugurated its corporate office and drone production plant in Hyderabad. The firm said that it intended to expand its operations to Southeast Asia and Africa, having set an aim to sell 2,500 drones this fiscal year. It said that by 2026–2027, 10,000 drones may be sold.
The founder and CEO of Thanos Technologies, Pradeep Palelli, announced in a statement on Wednesday that the business will make investments in creating innovative technologies and improving its current lineup.
The cutting-edge facility demonstrates Thanos's dedication to providing for the changing demands of Indian farmers. With ambitions to further scale to meet the growing market needs, it claims an initial yearly manufacturing capacity of 3000 drones.
Furthermore, in the past six months, Thanos has hired twice as many professionals from a variety of industries to improve customer service, especially in the areas of manufacturing, training, and after-sales support. To support and expand its production capacities for the creation of technologically sophisticated agricultural solutions, the firm is also aggressively investing in its technology team.
"We are pleased to announce the opening of our corporate headquarters and production plant in Hyderabad. We have seen remarkable traction and growth in the local market throughout the last fiscal year. We now operate in several Indian states, but our goal for this fiscal year is to expand into other regions, particularly in Southeast Asia and Africa," stated Pradeep Palelli, the founder and CEO of Thanos Technologies.
The firm plans to raise its first round of funding as part of its development strategy in order to improve its goods with more advanced technology, expand its operations, and reach more domestic and foreign clients. In addition, Thanos is committed to growing its clientele this year by obtaining licenses for three additional drone types for agricultural spraying. Additionally, the business intends to employ mapping drones that it created internally to gather agricultural intelligence, providing farmers with useful information for improved crop management.
Furthermore, Thanos is committed to fostering innovation and empowerment in sustainable agriculture, with a target of selling 2,500 drones for the current fiscal year and an expected 10,000 drones in use by FY 2026–2027.
