Turkey’s electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer, Togg, is looking to expand its production to Asian markets, including Malaysia, Indonesia, and Pakistan, President Tayyip Erdoğan revealed.

Pakistan has already expressed interest in locally manufacturing Togg vehicles, Erdoğan said, speaking to journalists during a return flight from his tour of the three nations.

Togg plans to achieve a production capacity of 100,000 units per year and, step by step, increase this to 175,000 with the completion of its plants in Bursa, northwestern Turkey. Long term, Togg plans to manufacture one million vehicles per year by the year 2030. Furthermore, Togg will also produce other models such as fastback, C-hatchback, B-SUV, and B-MPV in addition to its already released SUV by the year 2030. The T10F fastback sedan, launched last year, is likely to begin taking pre-orders in April, with the vehicle going on the road by the first half of 2025.

The company is also investing $1 billion in development of electric vehicle production facilities in the Aegean region of Turkey with a capacity of 150,000 cars per year, in the province of Manisa.

Togg, a mobility company that owns intellectual property rights, develops electric and networked cars and constructs a mobility ecosystem to surround them. Focusing on making the future sustainable for zero-emission, the company seeks to simplify people's lives through its innovative ecosystem.
